The food will without doubt be a highlight of your trip, and during the course of the week you'll have the chance to try some well-known as well as unfamiliar gastronomic delights of the Prosecco region. Mealtimes are not only about nourishment, but also an opportunity to learn about the culture of the area, and to enjoy each other's company. The Agriturismo La Bella celebrates local, organic produce with almost 100% of their ingredients coming from their own farm. Homemade cakes, bread, and fruit jams, as well as freshly squeezed juices, are always part of the morning breakfast buffet; for those who prefer a savoury start to the day, free-range eggs from the farm's hens are available. On your first night you'll also have the opportunity to taste Elisa's amazing cooking, with a special farm-to-table dinner experience, all based around seasonal ingredients. Lunches throughout the trip will consist of picnics or light meals, with a great variety of local ingredients including cheese, cured meats and fresh vegetables. On your final evening you'll have a special farewell dinner included at a renowned local restaurant in the area, whilst for the remainder of the evenings your guide will recommend a variety of great local restaurants near your accommodation. This ensures your money is spent locally and of benefit to the local community. Of course, Prosecco will be plentiful throughout your stay, with some tastings included as well as a visit to a local winery, where you'll have the chance to learn about the wine-making process and sample different local varieties of fizz.
