Albanian cuisine is a tasty mix of Mediterranean and Balkan influences. For breakfast, enjoy fresh eggs, bread, jam, honey, and coffee. Lunches will be taken at local restaurants along the cycling route, normally consisting of soup and salads. The two dinners included in the trip price will be memorable ones: a home-cooked farm-to-fork experience, where you'll likely enjoy fresh, seasonal produce, homemade cheeses, and slow cooked stews; plus a farewell dinner on the coast with abundant of seafood options, caught daily from the crystal-clear waters of the Ionian and Adriatic seas. For the dinners not included, options will often feature goat or lamb, complemented by meze-style vegetables, salads, homemade cheeses, freshly baked bread, and local wines. Don’t forget to sample the raki – Albania’s national spirit!
